When a woman becomes a widow, God’s amazing grace provides comfort, encouragement, and guidance. It is our desire to be expressions of this grace, to help women discover God’s good plans and purposes for their lives
Widows are invited to participate in all the ministries of the Church:
Widows are invited to participate in all the ministries of the Church:
- Worship with us.
- Find a Family Group where you fit.
- Enrich your faith through a Ladies’ Bible study.
- Attend GriefShare.
- Find places to serve.
When you are ready, attend Starting Point and join the Church family. When you do, you will have the option to be placed on our Church’s Widow’s List. An interview with one of our Deacons and wives will help us assess your needs, answer any questions, and better serve you as you grow in your faith.
The ministry specifically dedicated to serving widows is titled “Forget-Me-Nots” and helps our widows get to know each other. There are presently over 90 widows who are church members. We want them to build love and supportive friendships so we offer gatherings, lunches, movies, socials, and special events.
If you would like to learn even more, feel free to call the office and ask to speak with one of the ladies serving in this ministry. God bless you!
