Friday - Be Grateful!
Apr 18, 2025 • Pastor Jim McCarty
Good Friday commemorates Jesus Christ's ultimate sacrifice through betrayal, trial, and crucifixion. During the Last Supper, Jesus shared his final meal with disciples, predicting his betrayal and establishing communion. In Gethsemane, while his disciples slept, Jesus prayed in deep anguish before Judas betrayed him with a kiss. Following multiple trials, despite Pilate finding no fault, Jesus was condemned to crucifixion. His seven last words from the cross demonstrated his unwavering love and divine purpose, even in his final moments.
