Each person can and should spend time praying for the spread of the Gospel in our communities and to the furthest reaches of the earth. We will have available bookmarks you can keep in your Bible or hang in a prominent place to remind you to pray for our mission partners.

Our theme for Family Church for 2023 is Bless Every Home. This tool gives you a list of your closest neighbors so you can pray for them by name. You can get daily email reminders to prompt you to pray for them.

Also on Sunday, February 5, you can express interest for potential mission trips and sign-up for two projects with local mission partners for later in the month: Jesus Loves You Ministries and Pregnancy Solutions.

Family Church has been generous over the years in giving to local and international missions. Through faithful giving from our members, we missionaries through the International Mission Board (IMB), the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and individual missionary partners serving locally and around the world.

We provide multiple avenues to give. Approximately 10% of our general budget is set aside for the Cooperative Program, which is the funding tool for the Southern Baptist Convention to supply resources to missionaries, SBC seminaries, and other SBS activities. Each year we offer members the opportunity to give directly to the IMB, NAMB, the Florida Baptist Convention church planting effort, and other local ministries.

Jesus Loves You Ministry is a local ministry to the homeless in our community. We are scheduled to help serve the people and clients of Jesus Loves You Ministries at their annual BBQ. We need people to do various tasks from food prep, serving food, clean-up, and, most importantly, interacting with the homeless to build friendships and point people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. You are invited to volunteer and participate in this great ministry opportunity.

We have a missionary couple from the International Mission Board scheduled to come and preach God's Word and share with the church what God is doing to reach all nations with the Gospel. This year's speaker will be sharing about the work happening in a "closed" country that is hostile to the message of Jesus.

Pregnancy Solutions is one of our Community Connection partners. Pregnancy Solutions mission is To empower men, women and youth with life affirming options and support. This is primarily accomplished by providing completely free care to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy, including free ultrasounds, hospital-grade pregnancy tests,
and options counseling.

Our church volunteers will be serving Pregnancy Solutions with "behind the scenes" and support activities that will enable the team at Pregnancy Solutions to focus on
ministering to clients.

All of us are called to pray for missions, most are able to give to missions, and all of us can encourage and support those who are sent on mission. This week's emphasis is a reminder that God calls each of us to be doing missions as we go. We will be sharing stories of the impact of going on a mission trip on the person who goes, but also on those to whom
we are sent.

We will conclude our mission's month emphasis with an Evening of Worship at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center. It will be a time of praise and worship to God and a time of encouragement as we commit to living each day with a mission mentality.
